According to the Wall Street Journal, online MBA completion rates through the “big names” are going up because of…. engagement.  And we have this:

..Administrators say students often drop out because they cannot adapt to the remote teaching format—making it easier for class work to take a back seat to personal or work issues. Schools often screen applicants and discourage some from applying, but officials say that even great candidates drop out. (For-profit universities that offer online M.B.A.s have even lower graduation rates, hovering around 50%.)..
